There are several places in the World that dont have the opportunity to have fresh water, but at the same time there are several place that do have the access fresh water. For example in the top 5 nations that have this opportunity are the USA, Canada, Uruguay, Japan and Cyprus, as regards the countries that doesnt have the opportunity the last 5 are Sierra Leone (%13), Ethiopia (%12), Madagascar (%11), Niger (%9) and Chad (%9). The first 5 countries are called water rich countries and the last ones are called water poor countries.
As a first important aspect about the accessibility of water is that it´s a right and if people dont have it, people may get sick or even die. For example, people drink unfresh water nowadays that make them get sick with severe illnesses such as Cholera.
This is a very critical issue that not only affects today but also in the future. Countries have to start taking precautions to prevent an extremly bad probleme that may end with the human race if it continue like this.

You are right, Manu. It's really serious and it's the duty of governments to supply people with water and good sanitation.
